Vintage Indian Carved Wall Cabinet

A beautiful vintage Indian wall cabinet with a glazed door, decorative carved crest and wonderfully aged character.

Recently repainted using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, with the finish gently worked back to reveal layers of muted blue, grey, soft green and warm terracotta. The original-style metal ring handle and decorative latch add to its timeworn charm.

Inside is a single wooden shelf, making it perfect for displaying treasured objects, small ceramics, glassware or bathroom essentials.

WHY WE LOVE IT

We love the ornate carving and the layers of softly distressed colour. It’s a useful little cabinet but also a decorative piece in its own right—perfect for bringing storage and character to a bathroom, kitchen or bedroom.
