Why we love it
The scalloped edge gives this shelf its charm. We love the combination of soft grey paint, warm wood and those beautifully curved brackets.
Materials + Care
The majority of our pieces are vintage or handmade and are chosen for their character as much as their beauty.
• Natural signs of age and wear are part of their story.
• Spot clean where possible.
• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight.
• Professional cleaning is recommended for larger textiles and rugs.
• Wool and natural fibres benefit from occasional airing and gentle care.
Kantha textiles are made from layers of reclaimed sari cloth and are designed to be lived with and loved. Should your piece ever need a little extra care, I am always happy to send complimentary Kantha patches from my collection of scraps for sympathetic repairs. Sometimes the mending simply becomes part of the story.
