A striking vintage handwoven Afghan Tribal Kilim rug featuring traditional diamond motifs woven in rich shades of crimson, paprika, indigo, charcoal and soft oatmeal.
Handwoven using traditional flatweave techniques, this beautiful piece is full of movement and geometric detail. The repeating diamond pattern creates a strong focal point while the warm colours bring instant character and warmth to a room.
Perfect as a bedside rug, hallway runner, kitchen rug or layered with larger textiles for a collected, lived-in look.
Like all vintage kilims, this piece shows the subtle variations and character that come from being handmade. No two are ever quite the same.

Why We Love It
This little rug punches well above its size. The colours are incredible, rich reds and burnt oranges balanced by deep indigo and charcoal. We love the bold diamond design and the fact that it works just as well in a modern home as it would in a cottage full of vintage finds. A small rug with a lot of personality.
