Size: 190 x 85 cm

A beautiful vintage Turkish wool kilim in faded rose pink, indigo blue, pale sage and soft ivory. Handwoven and naturally softened by time, it has a wonderfully gentle palette that feels both fresh and timeless.

Its long runner shape makes it perfect for hallways, kitchens, beside a bed or layered into larger spaces where a touch of colour and character is needed.

Why We Love It

This is one of those rugs that quietly works its magic.

The colours have mellowed beautifully over the years, creating that elusive faded palette that designers spend a fortune trying to recreate. Soft rose pink sits alongside dusty indigo and pale sage green, giving the rug a relaxed, collected feel rather than anything overly bold or formal.

Handwoven from wool using traditional techniques, the geometric motifs remain crisp while the colours have softened with age, creating a piece full of warmth, texture and personality. We particularly love the contrast between the strong tribal border and the gentler central field, which makes it feel both graphic and calm at the same time.

Like all vintage kilims, this rug carries the story of its previous life. Small signs of age, subtle colour variation and gentle wear are part of its character and are exactly what make vintage textiles so special.

A beautiful one-off piece that brings soul to a room from the moment it is unrolled.

Materials + Care

The majority of our pieces are vintage or handmade and are chosen for their character as much as their beauty.

• Natural signs of age and wear are part of their story.
• Spot clean where possible.
• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight.
• Professional cleaning is recommended for larger textiles and rugs.
• Wool and natural fibres benefit from occasional airing and gentle care.

Kantha textiles are made from layers of reclaimed sari cloth and are designed to be lived with and loved. Should your piece ever need a little extra care, I am always happy to send complimentary Kantha patches from my collection of scraps for sympathetic repairs. Sometimes the mending simply becomes part of the story.
